Pacific MX Nitrox Electric High-Pressure Compressor

The PACIFIC MX NITROX is a low-noise, four-stage high-pressure breathing air compressor designed for permanent outdoor installation and dependable operation in demanding environments. Its enclosure and internal layout are engineered to promote consistent airflow across the compressor block while minimizing vibration to support stable, long-term performance.


At the core of the system is a four-stage pumping unit delivering up to 600 L/min (21.2 cfm). Pressure and temperature sensors are installed on each compression stage to support continuous monitoring and protect the system during operation. A factory-integrated NARDI control panel with multilingual software provides straightforward access to operating data and system status through a clear, user-friendly interface.

Configured for nitrox applications, the PACIFIC MX NITROX can handle oxygen-enriched air up to 40% when equipped with the required optional components. It is well suited for dive centers and for other operations where nitrox production is handled externally.

Standard Equipment

  • Highly reliable 11 kW (15 horsepower) electric motor
    Three-Phase: 400V / 50–60 Hz, 440V / 50–60 Hz, 480V / 50–60 Hz

  • Pressure sensors added to all stages. Extra sensors help track real-time system performance, trigger alarms, improve data logging, and support advanced automation or remote-monitoring setups.

  • Temperature sensors added to all stages. Additional sensors allow more precise control of motor, block, or cabinet temperatures—ideal for demanding duty cycles or customers integrating the machine into monitored industrial systems.

  • Reduces inrush current and protects your electrical system. The soft-start module brings the motor up to speed smoothly, cutting stress on wiring, breakers, and generator loads—ideal for limited-amp circuits.

  • All units comply with DIN EN 12021 standards and the PED directive, ensuring top-tier quality and safety. Suitable for industrial or breathing air grade filtration. Filtration upgrades available.

  • Oil pump lubrication standard. Provides continuous, pressurize lubrication. Improves cooling, extends component life, and maintains stable performance during long duty cycles or high-temperature operation.

  • Designed to monitor the engine's oil level and automatically shut down or prevent startup of the unit if the oil level falls below a safe threshold.

  • Oversized moisture-separation stages for longer filter life, better water removal, and cleaner final air quality. Recommended for humid climates, heavy-duty use, or operations demanding extended filtration intervals.

  • Sound insulated frame with sound-absorbing internal lining.

  • Four-fold filling device standard on both models. Four hoses standard. Hose length: 1 m (3.3 ft).

  • A clean, compliant solution for managing compressor condensate. This 12-liter sealed container safely collects oily water from automatic drains, preventing ground contamination and helping facilities meet environmental best practices.

Accessories/Upgrades

  • Two output pressures on one compressor. Fill cylinders at 225 bar (3200 psi) and 330 bar (4700 psi) from the same unit without swaps or downtime. Perfect for mixed-fleet operations, fire stations, dive shops, and rental facilities. Standard version supplied with 1 filling hose DIN 200 bar and 1 filling hose DIN 300 bar.

  • Convert a DIN outlet to a standard INT-yoke fitting (225 bar / 3200 psi). A simple, durable adapter for shops and operators who service both DIN and yoke cylinders.

  • Compliance package for use in hazardous environments classified Zone II. Includes documentation, testing, and certification that the compressor meets the safety requirements for explosive atmospheres common in petrochemical, industrial, and offshore applications.

  • The NARDI Gas Guardian is a next-generation multigas monitoring system specifically designed for safety-critical compressed breathing air applications. Whether in dive operations, fire stations, industrial facilities, or confined-space environments, the Gas Guardian delivers precise, real-time air quality monitoring that meets or exceeds international safety standards. The Gas Guardian can test for carbon monoxide (CO), carbon dioxide (CO2), water vapor (dew point), oxygen (O2), volatile organic compounds (VOC), hydrogen sulfide (H2S), and helium (He).

  • Designed for use with the Pacific M and Pacific MX compressors, this integrated storage and fast-filling solution is designed to optimize workflow and air availability in high-demand filling operations. The custom-engineered frame securely mounts up to two 50-liter storage cylinders directly to the compressor. This integrated design minimizes footprint and ensures that a reserve of high-pressure air is always available, reducing compressor run times during peak usage.
