Nardi Compressori offers a dedicated range of compressors and boosters engineered for compressed natural gas (CNG) and biomethane applications. Designed to support the transition to cleaner fuel technologies, these systems enable the safe and efficient refueling of CNG-powered vehicles, fleet depots, and on-site gas recovery systems.
Nardi’s CNG units are available in multiple output capacities and pressure ratings, up to 350 bar (5,000 psi), and are ATEX Zone 2 certified. With models ranging from 2.2 to 20 kW (3.0 to 15.0 hp), these compressors are built for modular integration into vehicle refueling stations, factory systems, or private fueling infrastructure. Their compact, enclosed designs support low noise levels, operational safety, and long service intervals. Choose from P30 (200 bar) or P36 (250 bar) filling type.

The sound-insulated frame or cabinet is built with rugged panels engineered to perform reliably in demanding environments. An internal lining of high-performance acoustic insulation significantly reduces noise levels. A large wing-shaped fan ensures both efficient ventilation and exceptionally low sound pressure.

Reduce inrush current and protect your electrical system. The soft-start module brings the motor up to speed smoothly, cutting stress on wiring, breakers, and generator loads—ideal for portable setups and limited-amp circuits. Comes as standard equipment on CNG 7.5 and 10.0.
Add pressure monitoring points wherever you need them. Extra sensors help track real-time system performance, trigger alarms, improve data logging, and support advanced automation or remote-monitoring setups.
Expand thermal oversight of your compressor. Additional sensors allow more precise control of motor, block, or cabinet temperatures—ideal for demanding duty cycles or customers integrating the machine into monitored industrial systems.
