Technical Specifications
Our MultiPower Oil-Free Compressors are a modular solution for high-volume, oil-free compressed air. Each unit can be equipped with one, two, or three Extreme 4 pump units, each running at 2.2 kW (3 hp), allowing the system to scale from light to heavy demand without changing frames. With large 270- or 500-liter storage tanks (about 71 or 132 gal) and a maximum working pressure of 10 bar (145 psi) or 21 bar (305 psi), MultiPower systems are well suited for large industrial shops, production lines, and other applications where air demand varies throughout the day.
At full build-out, the MultiPower can deliver roughly 520–1800 L/min (18.4–63.6 cfm), depending on the output pressure, the number of pumps installed, and the number of pumps running simultaneously. The integrated MultiPower control logic (LPCD) starts and stops each pump automatically based on system pressure and flow demand, balancing runtime across the pumps, reducing electrical peak loads, and minimizing mechanical wear. The result is an energy-efficient, oil-free compressed air system that can grow with your process, from single-shift operation to high-duty industrial use, all within the same MultiPower platform.
The NARDI LP Control Device (LPCD) is an advanced electronic control system designed to provide fully automatic, energy‑efficient management of multi‑pump compressor installations. Engineered for reliability, safety, and operational efficiency, the LPCD delivers total control while operating independently from the compressor hardware.
Featuring a large, easy‑to‑read display with intuitive touch controls, the LPCD automatically manages up to three pump units based on real‑time air demand. The system starts and stops pump units sequentially, ensuring only the required number of pumps are operating at any given time. This staged operation significantly reduces electrical peak loads and optimizes energy consumption.
To promote uniform wear and extended service life, the LPCD rotates pump operation so that all units accumulate equal working hours. When air demand increases beyond the capacity of a single pump, additional pump units are brought online automatically. If an electrical overload occurs, integrated thermal protection immediately stops the affected motor and signals the control system, which then activates another pump to maintain uninterrupted operation.
The LP Control Device continuously monitors total compressor operating hours, individual pump hours, and dryer runtime, providing maintenance reminders and alarm notifications directly on the interface. Manual mode allows operators to isolate specific pump units during service while keeping the remaining system operational.
Multiple LPCDs can be networked together via RS485 communication, allowing centralized control of larger systems and improving overall process stability, efficiency, and uptime. Optional expansion modules enable remote email notifications, providing real‑time system status and alerts as part of an IoT‑ready solution.
